Kerri Ann was spectacular through the double header this week and is thus the player of the week. She made many great catches including a diving/rolling on the ground catch (although the ump robbed her of the out). Kerri Ann was also rikickulus when she was at the plate. Not only was she great at playing this week, but she also delegated players to help out other teams and helped provide a great experience for all.

Draft this had many different options this week. They had purple hair, giant newspaper hats, some tuques, and other spectacular displays. Draft This is our team of the week for dazzling us with their spectacular plays, but more importantly their spectacular hats and participation this week! One person had a horse hat that wouldn't work, and there happened to be enough extra to have a replacement ready. That's being prepared.

Kristin M is our player of the week. Kristin was engaged and fun to play with or against this week. She was integral in the success of Sev Run 2.0 and their double header this week. Kristin had an impressive bases clearing double for 3 RBIs and had the game winning RBI in a 7th inning comeback. All around, she played amazing this week, and made things really fun. When Where My Pitches At arrived at the park, everyone stopped to look. They had a Penguin with a sombrero on their team. This was Peter. He led the rest of his teams who were wearing ponchos and enormous mustaches. Their captain was a pinata. With this kind of reaction, there was little doubt of what kind of plays they would show in their game. Thanks for playing a great game and dazzling us all with the spectacular attire!

Brandon knew his team had their work cut out fielding only 7 players, the minimum, for Thursday's matchup with Rikickulus. He started with a big RBI in the first inning as well as a run scored giving his team an early lead. Then it was his play in the outfield that really kept his team in the game. With only two outfielders, Brandon was running hard left, then right, then deep--Making great catch after great catch, really giving it everything he had in what ended up being a losing effort for his team, but a defining moment in Brandon's kickball career.

Shane "The Beard" D wills team to championship!
The funcore scoring might have been done with, but that didn't stop Bunch O Morons from dressing up in "nerdy" attire, lead by their pitcher Shane D. Shane had a day most underdogs dream of, pitching two complete games and contributing on the offense and defensive side of the ball. In the championship game, he smacked a home run leading off the 3rd to put his team ahead for good, then caught a sharp line drive for a double play in the 6th as the opposition was rallying. And the beard, how could we forget the amazing beard? Shane had everything working last night, congrats to him for earning Player of the Week honors!
