Where my pitches at took an early 3 - 0 1st inning lead over the Punky Bruisers and just sailed from there. The offensive output came from everywhere--the ladies with nice bunts, great speed and quite a few well placed big kicks--was impressive. The guys--teeing off for at least 3 big HR's numerous multi-base kicks and some, well, interesting base running, but it all worked out. Their defense was equally impressive allowing only 4 runs through 7 innings and just making every play that came their way. Where my pitches at truly was the better team that Sunday and deservedly took home the title.

In the first game against the Manhandlers, Sit on my base jumped to an early 6 - 2 second inning lead and really never looked back. The big game would come next against the #1 seed, the Rumrunners, for the championship. Seemed early like it would be a defensive battle with a 0 - 0 score after 1 inning. Then Sit on my base came back strong with a 5 run second inning and held the Rumrunners scoreless until the fifth, where they scored what ended up being their only run of the game. Sit on my base played with a fun spirit, good sportsmanship and really deserved to win this championship and earned every penny of it. Nicely played!
