Early Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Alki Wednesdays

This weeks Player of the Week goes to Rohit for his extraordinary point saving dive. Sure, Indy 16 fell short tonight win it comes to Wins, but Rohit did not disappoint as he had the play of the night. In a close game, the ball was hit over to Indy 16's side away from everyone. In fact, Rohit wasn't even the closest person to the ball which was going to land in bounds. But with his "never give up" mentality, Rohit ran as fast as he could in the sand and laid out to pop the ball to the other side, hitting the line for a point. Indy 16 went wild! Great job tonight Rohit! You definitely deserved this one!

Seth is this weeks Player of the Week. What started off as a team with no unity, turned into a team that could potentially win it all. Seth was a huge proponent to Indy #17's success as he never brought the team down but always stayed at an even keel. He let his play do the talking and it rubbed off on his teammates. By their last game, you could see that Indy #17 was night and day better than when they first started. They trusted and encouraged each other and made some spectacular plays all around. Even after a tough loss, Seth and the rest of Indy #17 stuck around to play some 2 on 2 with each other. They may not have won tonight in the game, but as a team, they have everything to be proud of!
