Laurie was a force in the field and reminded spectators of Ryne Sandberg as she caught bullet after bullet at 2nd base in her teams 9-4 win. Nice work Laurie.

On a brisk Wednesday evening in Mid-April, a Fringeheads player kicked a can of corn over to the left side of the field. Amy drifted left, the right, then positioned herself perfectly underneath the dirty brown ball. The ball then cradled itself nicely in between Amy's arms for a spectacular Kickball catch. Congratulations to Amy!

Staring up into a gentle rain, Craig Hanson attempted to wrap his arms around a high pop-up down the first base line. When the ball popped out and headed toward foul territory, Craig gave chase and crashed headlong into the chain link fence, nearly knocking off his trademark canvas hat and failing to come up with the ball.

Craig recovered to record half his team's outs single-handedly (although he used two hands to pound a male Man Bunt!er with the ball on a close play at first).

After spending most of the season on the sidelines cheering on his club, _______________ of Coolie's Kickers begged for a chance to play in the championship game. Manager Mike Brunelle rewarded ____________ with the start at second base.

To his chagrin, ___________ muffed two plays at second base early in the game and asked Brunelle to remove him from defense. The move paid off for the team as the replacement players at second turned several fantastic plays.

In the fifth inning, Tiffany Farris ran through a stop sign at third base to score Coolie's first run and knot the game at 1-1. __________ followed with a solid single that plated the go-ahead run to put Coolie's Kickers on top to stay, 2-1.

After missing three championships by a handful of runs and playing like Underdog's answer to the Buffalo Bills, according to Brunelle, it took a clutch kick and a selfless move by __________ to ice the franchise's first USL championship.
