Spring Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Thursdays

In what was a great individual performance, Todd Hauser displayed great speed on his way to garnering Player of the Week honors. Todd had two interceptions and also two touchdowns.

The Lucky Dogz have had their share of great players run the ranks over the years. One player who is emerging as yet another is Sam Arieff. Sam dominated the action in a 45-20 victory over Better Than Yours.

If there were any cameras rolling during Peace, Love, and Harmony's game against Guys and Dolls, there would have been at least four that would have made Sportscenter's Top 10 Plays and all four would have involved Joey Scott. Joey intercepted three passes, and also caught a touchdown on offense while leading her team to a 43-18 victory.

There are clutch performances and then there is what Bill Hagge did on Thursday night. With about two minutes left and his team trailing 20-19, Bill caught a touchdown pass to put the Lucky Dogz ahead 25-20. But that wasnt the end of the story. With his team struggling on defense, unable to get a stop on their previous two possessions, it came down to one final drive where either Tenacious D was going to score the game winning touchdown or the Lucky Dogz were going to make a huge stop. After an incompletion on first and goal, Bill came up huge by recording sacks on the next two plays and forcing a forth and gender play from about midfield which Tenacious D was unable to convert. Those two sacks along with the game winning touchdown are what makes Bill Hagge and the Lucky Dogz winners and also what makes him Player of the Week.
