With no captain to guide them, not enough players to complete a team and therefore having a questionable sub fill in. Robin made up for all lost serves in the opening night of the season. Indy vs. Indy, everyone out of their comfort zone, Robin pulled through with her cool, calm, collective attitude to aid in pulling her new team to a solid win.

This team didn't just win three straight sets against a worthy opponent the men on this team were rock stars in a different way. They all took turns rocking the stroller of a fellow team mates newborn. Talk about team work, pulling together with wide eyes, silly smiles and sweet digs. Smiles all around.

This weeks Player of the Week goes to Chris from Brown Thunder!! Chris played amazing this week and even without coming away with the win, his skills were obvious. With rolling saves in the sand and countless dives to retrieve shanked balls, this guy was all over the place! Donning sweet shades to block out the harsh sun, Chris jumped high and hit with a vengeance. In the close second game, he had a 6 or 7 point serving run to get things started. Very impressed with this guy's awesome hits and sets from all over the court. Way to go Chris!! Keep it up!!

Congrats to Amanda from Glorious Ballards!! This girl is always ready to play and gives every game her all. She's gonna take you by surprise and make you realize Amanda's the shit! Seriously though, this girl brings a competitive edge to her glorious team which can't be matched! She was making ridiculous saves, amazing hits and she even through a few sweet bump kills into the mix as well. What a great day for some volleyball and what an awesome day for Amanda! Way to go girl!! Keep up the good work!

Way to go Lauren!! This girl is so sweet. Such a team player and great leader for all her fellow indy teammates. Even though they didn't come away with the win against Dinks All Around, Lauren played an amazing match and was so spirited and positives the whole time! Such a great attitude even when the score isn't the best. Every team should have a Lauren on their roster to boost morale with bright positivity and volleyball skills! Awesome job Lauren. Keep up the good work!!

Congrats Ruckus!! With the no show of their opponents, it looked as if the first match wasn't even going to happen. But then beach bros came to the rescue! In three heated games, The Ruckus managed to come away with the win both from the forfeit as well as from pure skill. Granted the bros of the beach were relatively new to volleyball, but they still gave it their all and played a hell of a match. But in the end, they were no match for The Ruckus' awesome serves, amazing defense and killer hits. Way to get it Ruckus! Good luck in the upcoming playoffs too!

Congrats Everything's Better Spiked!! These guys only had three players last night and were totally killing it. With awesome team dynamics, they crushed their opponents and came away with two W's. Super swings, krazy kills, amazing aces, tight tipping, dominating digging, and fierce fun, Everything's blew the competition away! And while I'm not sure if everything is actually better spiked, I know their balls are!! Volleyballs that is.. Way to work guys! And good luck next week, you're sitting pretty for the championships!!
