In a herculean effort, Betty Gonzalez proved to be the iron woman by helping multiple teams to victory. Betty's main contribution however, came in her own team's emotional 6-5 victory as she was the driving force in a comeback win.

Arbornauts
The Arbonauts were able to come from behind and hold on for 6-5 victory over Perfect Strangers/Indy#1 thanks to clutch hits and stellar defense by Super Steve. He had a couple hits, including one as part of a 2-run go-ahead rally in the bottom of the 5th, to help the Arbonauts take the lead. Then in the top of the 6th, the Strangers had two men on with only one out, but Steve gobbled up a ground ball to short, tagged 2nd for one, and gunned out the batter at 1st for a game-ending DP. Way to go Steve!

The Allies
On a glorious fall day at Hamlin Park, The Allies and Ace Hardware met in a battle of the 1st and 2nd place teams. Frank got a HR, a triple, and a double, as the Allies consistent offense overcame Ace's 8-run 2nd inning to win 10-9. Great game by both teams and congratulations Frank Valdez as POTW!

Chico's Bail Bonds/Ace Hardware of Sammamish
On a chilly Saturday, with his team trailing 8-7 in the bottom of the 8th inning, Rich "Don't call me Ken" Phelps stepped up to the plate with one thing on his mind. Rich wanted to put the game away with one swing of the bat. Lucky for Rich, there were two runners on so he only needed a single. As fate would have it, Rich got that single when his team needed it most and Chico's Bail Bonds/Ace Hardware of Sammamish was able to escape with a 9-8 victory.

In a day where The Allies were unstoppable, Kelly Trudeau led the way by going 3-4 in the championship game. While Kelly was terrific with the bat, she was just as effective with her glove as she made countless great plays at Second Base.
