It's game 1 and top seed Teddy Fish quickly finds themselves in deep water against the deceivingly named, 2nd seed C-League Champs, falling behind 13-6. It appeared though, that this was all the motivation they needed and after a few ace serves and solid blocks they were back in it 13-16. From then on it was back and forth side-outs until until C-League champs reel in the line and take the win, 25-22. Game 2 was all work and top-notch play. The defense displayed by both teams couldn't be described any other way than insane! Battling their way to an 11-7 lead, Teddy Fish keeps the momentum going with some fierce serving and dramatic offense. A handful of intense rallies and side-out exchanges later, Teddy Fish turns to their serving once again and wraps up game two, winning 25-15. Game three starts out with an ace serve by Teddy Fish and the team takes a rapid 11-6 lead. With the intensity now 2-fold, the deciding game becomes an exchange of power plays and C-League champs rally within 3. Regaining the serve at 22-19, Teddy Fish doesn't look back and clinches the Championship.
Congrats to both teams!
