Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Wednesdays

Megan H. came up big for squad who won 9 to 4 with her offense and defense all while playing hurt. Megan only gave up 4 runs on the mound, making it easy for her offense to get a lead and keep it. Megan also had a hand in getting the runs across the plate with numerous RKI's and with solid speed to 1st base all while being hurt. With Megan's stellar performance all while being hurt earns her this weeks player of the week! Great game Megan!

This night, where the stakes were high, Reilly not only literally stepped up to the plate but also figuratively. With the game still undecided, Reilly made two huge catches on deep fly balls in right center field. Understanding the magnitude of the moment, Reilly's enthusiasm for making the big catches showed us all just how big the moment was. Not only was Reilly a defensive stalwart, she was very productive at the plate starting a big rally breaking a 3 - 3 game wide open. If Reilly keeps this type of play going, she will be in line to be a gold glove winner as well as a silver slugger award winner!

If anyone wants know how to play Third base, ask Jess. During her teams game on Wednesday, Jess had third base locked down. No matter if her opponents popped it up, grounded it or bunted it to her, nothing was getting past Jess and her sure hands. It truly was an impressive display. Oh and she also had a couple of hits and a run. What a way to end the regular season! Great game Jess!
