Ian Templeton scored the winning run in the bottom of the 8th inning, to beat the Lawn Wranglers 17-16.
Led by Jesse Helin's 2 RBI, the 2 seed Marinators outlasted #3 seed Twist Restaurant 7-5 in the semi final game They then battled the number 5 seed Lawn Wranglers in the Championship game.
The Lawn Wranglers jumped out to 8-0 and 13-5 leads, but despite great defense from Steven Masada and clutch hitting from Suejin Lee were not able to hold the lead. The Lawn Wranglers scored 5 in the top of the 7th to take the lead, only to see the Marinators respond with 3 in the bottom of the inning to send it into extra frames and set the stage for the 8th inning heroics.
