The Boozin' Bavarian Blue Ballers came into the playoffs as the third seeded team, but showed no signs of being anything but champions on their way to the title. After making it to the finals, they faced the fourth seeded Kickers With a Drinking Problem, and windy field conditions promised to make an interesting affair. The Bavarians took advantage of several defensive miscues to jump out to a quick lead, and let their stellar defense take it from there. With the wind blowing the ball in, the Drinkers could not kick the ball over the Bavarian Defense, and struggled early. In the fifth, however, they found a rhythm and loaded the bases with only one out. A line drive to third looked like it would do some damage, but Bavarian third baseman Brendan Kelly managed to knock the ball down, step on third, then fire a throw to nail the runner headed home for an amazing unassisted double play. The Drinkers put up two runs in a last ditch effort in the bottom of the seventh, but it was not enough and they fell 8-2. Congratulations on a great season to both teams.

Having split the season series one game apiece, Cajones and Supercalifornia Pants looked to settle the score once and for all in the hardcore championship game. Both teams came out firing and exchanged early runs. Cajones leadoff man Joe Ferrara got on with a walk and scored in the first. But Supercalifornia Pants would not be denied. Pitcher Doug Orwiler set the tone early with a spectacular head first slide into home plate, and the Pants quickly took the lead. It seemed that every inning they threatened with runners on, and in the end pushed 9 runs across. On the other side of the ball, Orwiler used a devastating curve to keep Cajones kickers guessing. His defense backed him up and when the final ball was kicked, it was Supercalifornia Pants who stood on top with a 9-2 victory.
