Lou was an impact player in this close game against TopFlight, and made a great catch for a touchdown with only 5 seconds remaining on the clock to put his team up 13-12, which would be the final score. Way to come through in the clutch Lou!

This week in the Gentleman's flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays the player of the week is Matt Heinle of He Hate Me. Matt came to play this Sunday despite the heat and came through with a big game for his team in their victory over the Reds. Matt had 4 sacks, 3 of which were on 4th down, and 2 pass deflections at the line of scrimmage. He also had 1 touchdown on offense. Great job Matt!

This week in the Gentleman's flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays it was the first week of playoffs, and Aaron Chung of the Screamin' Eagles earned player of the week for his game winning and game ending touchdown catch. Aaron made an outstretched running catch and fell into the endzone to end the playoff game, which went into FIVE OVERTIMES! It seemed these teams were too evenly matched until the Eagles finally stopped Two Girls Kissing at Safeco - Indy 1 on defense and gave Aaron the chance to put the game away. Great job Aaron!

In the final week of the Gentleman's flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Sundays the player of the week is Sam Baker of the Warriors. Sam played consistently throughout the Warriors' playoff run to win the hardcore championship, but most notably he had the game saving tackle in the championship game on the 1/2 yard line with only 2 seconds left to preserve his team's lead. This combined with his numerous short yardage catches and touchdowns makes him this week's MVP. Good job Sam!
