The rain was definitely a factor in the first week of the Gentlemen's flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays, but Trevor Foote of Team Douche Bag brought his A game, and led his team to rain soaked victory with 5 touchdown passes and 2 key interceptions, one of which was near the end of the game to end a Runnin Revels drive that could have tied up the game. Good job Trevor!

This week in the Gentlemens flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays the player of the week is Tim Bolla of the Indy team. In the second game of a double header against El Diablo Tim showed he still had plenty of energy rushing the quarterback and laying on the pressure. He had 2 sacks and 3 deflected passes. In addition he also caught a touchdown pass and and extra point attempt to help his team win 21-7. Good job Tim!

The player of the week this week in the Gentlemens flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays is James Bennett from This Aint What You Want. James played a huge role on defense, killing 3 drives by the Runnin Revels with interceptions, and then caught 2 touchdown passes as well. As a result the Revels were only able to score 13 points to This Aint What You Want's 29. Good job James!

This Saturday in the Gentlemans flag football league at Memorial Stadium the player of the week is Jason Shumaker from the Angora Sweaters. Jason was a key part of the Angora Sweater's team effort in defeating El Diablo 39-21. Jason played well on both sides of the ball, accumulating 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in a night that had near perfect weather. Great job Jason!

This week in the Gentlemens flag football league at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays the player of the week is Ryck Hoopes from Pirates Revenge. In a close first game of a double header Ryck played a huge role in the Pirates victory over Indy 1, racking up all 4 touchdown catches and 2 interceptions to boot. Ryck had a great game scoring no less than 24 of the Pirates' 29 points in their 29-26 win. Good job!

Vijay helped is team out on both sides of the ball. He contributed on offense by catching a late TD that helped put the game away. His bigger contribution though was on the defensive side of the ball. He pressured the Sasquatch Militia QB all day, ending up with 2 sacks and many more QB pressures.
