Early Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Alki Wednesdays

Congrats to the player of the week, Phil Bozak! It was a little windy this week but Phil was a warming player to be around. His uplifting attitude made it enjoyable to watch. I can't wait to see the progress of the Indy #V19 team, great job everyone! Keep up the good work Phil and I look forward to seeing you grow as a player and light up the league.

Lindsey had an awesome night! She was timid at first and did not always want to take a swing at the ball. However, after the support from her team she began to swing at the ball! By the end of the night, she was sending the ball over with force and accuracy! Nice job and keep up the good work, Lindsey! :)

On court one in a picturesque setting Kristin and her team were ready to take on their double header with gusto! So much so they finished their first match 15 minutes early! Kristin was a huge part of their quick success in the first match, with some amazing digs and great serves. While Kristin and her team started to tire in the second match, nothing was going to stop Kristin from playing her best and leaving it all on the sand! Great work Kristin and Sand Traps and Ball Slaps!

Double headers are tough for any team especially in the playoffs. Michael and Aces Around were ready to take on their opponents and were full of energy to do it. Their semifinals game went to 3 games and they were able to win the last two games to advance, with the help of Michael. His amazing hits and serves kept them in the game. Unfortunately they were unable to win in the finals but put up a great fight to finish the night. 5 games later and the team was just as energetic as the start and proud of their season! Great job!
