Balls N Dolls
In a tight coed kickball battle, Heidi stood out. She wooed her opponents with ability to catch any big boot they sent her way in the outfield. At the plate, she was a pesky kicker and caused havok on the basepaths. Great game Heidi!

Stinky Fingers
This guy loves his kickball. After helping his team, the Stinky Fingers, win a 4-0 shutout on Sunday, Kyle stuck around and played two more games. Filling in for missing players on two different teams, Kyle played all over the field and provided outstanding kicks for 3 straight hours. He kicked a home run for the Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves, and played some great defense at third base for the Sandbaggers. Thanks Kyle for showing us what kickball is all about.

There will be Blood
Hauke supplied most of the offense for There Will be Blood on Sunday. He kicked two monster home runs, leading them to an 8-7 victory. With his team down by three runs in the bottom of the 7th, Hauke stepped up with two outs and two runners on base. His deep boot to right field went over both outfielders' heads. The relay throw passed only inches from him as he crossed home plate to score the winning run and secure the win for his team. Congratulations to Hauke and There Will be Blood.

There will be Blood
Eric knocked in 10 of the team's 12 runs and topped it off with a face plant into the plate. Couldn't have looked any better; the best way to top off the game!

We've Got the Runs
Dave stumbled upon a great game. While on offense, Dave dropped a couple key bombs against his opponents, helping his team jump on the Gypsies early in the game.
In the outfield, he seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. Even when he non-chalantly threw the ball in, he seemed to create defensive magic. Finally Dave has his "Day In The Sun".

POTW: Nathan Smitha
Spring Kick Group
Nathan Smitha's team did not win Sunday. In fact, Nathan's team wasn't exactly Nathan's team to begin with. But this is Underdog! Spring Kick Group asked their friend Nathan to be a last minute fill in to make a full roster, and Nathan, having never played before, hopped in and went to work. He got on base a few times, made a few great catches, and generally had a good time. Which is the point in our leagues. Congratulations, Nathan- stop by any time!

Inflated Balls and Deflated Egos
Naveed was playing first base this week. Team Awesome and and Inflated Balls were close in runs up to the 4th inning. In the 4th, Naveed made all 3 outs and the no run inning. The most impressive play came with one runner on first. The ball was kicked just off the ground toward Naveed. He made a beautiful play by grabbing the ball just after it bounced, tagging the runner on first and then stepping on first base to make a solo double play.

Stinky Fingers
It's the big talkers that usually end up silent at the end of a game, when their mouth has written checks that their body just didn't cash. Not so in Anthony Muck's case. He laughed. He joked. He screamed. He (jokingly) mocked the other teams, his own team, and himself. When playing catcher he shook hands and chatted with kickers, all the while remarking what fun the game was. He even had complimentary remarks for your friendly neighborhood umpire. Meanwhile, his game was up to snuff as well. Anthony was good on the field and kicking, including one of the most perfectly placed kicks we've ever seen in UK, slicing up the third base line into the outfield and landing in fair territory by about 3 inches; a big run scorer at a crucial time. Anthony was the rock for his team in a strong championship run, and a great sport to boot. Congratulations, Stinky Fingers!
