Summer Co-ed Softball at Queen Anne/Interbay Tues/Thurs

What a fun start to the Season! Queen Anne playfield was in high spirits, thanks to Holly S of Array All Stars. She's a dynamic player and super fun to have out there! Also, worth noting, she helped sub for Robert Half who was down a female and added a touch of awesomeness to their line up. Great job out there, Holly!

In the first game Tuesday at Queen Anne Playfield, the teams were ready for a battle. However, it quickly became obvious that this game would be a one-sided affair, thanks to the stellar pitching of Tom M. Consistently throwing strikes, and backed by a strong defensive core, Tom tossed a complete-game shutout.

This pitching gem was bolstered by a barrage of hits, including key home runs, leading to a 16-0 victory for team JTT. But it was the pitching that stood out this night, as any threat by the other team was quickly extinguished.

Congrats, Tom, for a very well-pitched game!

In a tight battle of a game, Amanda came through to help her team secure a victory. In the bottom of the 5th, the game was tied. Amanda came up with a runner in scoring position and crushed a double to left and her team never looked back. To top it all off, it was also Amanda's third hit of the game. Great clutch hitting Amanda!

Robby's smooth play at short stop and offensive prowess were top notch this week as he lead his team to victory. It is for his presence at short stop alone that Robby brings home player of the week.

In a game where both teams performed well defensively, the long ball would be king. Ian's 3 homer day would set the pace for his team offensively, as they take home a decisive victory 17-3. Congratulations Ian, your stellar attitude and fantastic play earns you player of the week!

Alex knew the Can't Stops were in for a tough game in the first round of the playoffs against the Random Collision and he was more than ready for it. Locked in both at the plate and at the hot corner, Alex put on an outstanding performance. The spectacular diving catch he made in late innings was a true web gem and a great testament to his ability at third.

Playoffs is the time where true competitors reveal what they are made of. Tony revealed his flare for greatness with a two run walk-off homerun in the bottom of the 7th to his team to the championship game. If there ever was movie moment in slow pitch softball, this was it.
