The violent CHubbies have a been a dominant force on the Seattle kickball circuit for a number of years now. A few weeks ago, they battled to the championship game of the Red Rubber Showdown, and emerged victorious. Tonight, as they stepped onto the half turf, half natural grass field that is the Ballard Boys & Girls club, they acted as tho this was nothing new, and for them, it wasn't. The Chubbies jumped out to an early lead, and they never looked back. solid pitching, outstanding fielding, and heads up base running spread the lead to 5, and that's all they needed to secure ANOTHER championship!
The Violent Chubbies were a solid team all year, and I imagine they'll be favored for a repeat next season.
