Fall Softcore Kickball at Ballard Boys and Girls Club Sundays

Calvin had an amazing game Sunday. And he almost single handily had a wicked triple play. Ball is popped up, no outs, he catches it, the runners left already, he throws the ball at the runner going back to first, hits him, but he already had the base. looks over and the runner who left 3rd still hadn't gotten back yet, makes the throw again, OUT! at 3rd. Killer double play, almost a triple play, kept in Caliente's hope alive!!

Sila had a great week in kickball. She led her team in pitching and racked up some strikeouts on Sunday. Sila was also a demon on the basepaths scoring some runs and helping her team on the offensive side. She had an all around game Sunday and was the team leader which earned her Player of the Week (PTOW).

There were some honorable mentions this week. Meredith Meacham played a great hot corner, snagging and diving after kickballs that Adrian Beltre would have been Jealous! BJ Bryan played a mean centerfield and looked like Ichiro or the young KG Jr! Great job folks.

Christie was dominating this game! No one could touch her while she was playing 3rd base. We like to call her the black hole. But don't think she is limited to defense! Oh no... Christie can bring it on offense too. With an RBI and a run to add to her stats, Christie earned herself MVP!
