The first game started off fairly evenly matched, with Murphy's Team keeping up with Tip 2 Tip. The champ team started pulling ahead, however, and Murphy's team didn't have a chance to catch up because Shannon served out the rest of the game. Her spectacular serving streak ended the game at 25-12.
The second game started and Murphy's Team was ready for a rematch. With Sarah setting, Jon and Eric were both able to be at the top of their hitting game. But a short serving streak at the beginning of the game by Tip 2 Tip's Adam, followed by more great serving by Becky and Shannon, Tip 2 Tip widened their lead to 18-12. Tip 2 Tip's Eric was on top of his game with some huge blocking and great hitting.
On the other side of the net, kills by Jon then Eric, and a missed serve on the Tip 2 Tip team brought the scores closer together. But despite Murphy's Team nipping at their heels, Tip 2 Tip never let them ahead - Eric had another big kill, and Sean put the ball down to finish off the game at 25-23. A great game from both teams!
