Danny Marx Leads The Charge
From the opening bell Seawalks came out punching hard. With hit after hit after hit they looked like they were on a mission and that mission was realized at the end of the game. Led by Danny Marx and his hot bat Seawalks had STF Slammers on the ropes from the start. Reeling of seven runs and eight runs in the second inning proved to be too much for STF Slammers to recover from. Their base running, pitching and their new additions have this team on a high right now and they are looking for more victims. They are hot and they are for real. Great game Danny, Happy Birthday and great win for Seawalks.

Jackie Glenn Puts On Free Hitting Clinic
The saying goes, the more powerful and higher you are, the further you will fall sometimes. This could have not been more apparent in Monday night's match up between Seawalks and Hit It and Forget About It. From the opening bell Seawalks showed no signs of intimidation or nervousness as they prepared to face off with the perennial power house. After holding HIAFAI to just two runs over two innings their confidence grew and their bats got hat. By the fourth inning they managed to squeeze out eleven hard earned runs against a top notch defense that is very hard to score against. Jackie Glenn lead the way at the plate going 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles while batting in three runs. Heading into the top half of the seventh inning they managed to build a double digit lead and needed to rely on their defense to hold off the late attack that was sure to come. Their defense held allowing only one run and closing out a beautifully played game in all phases. League teams beware. This team is for real and not to be taken lightly. Not many teams can dominate a power house team like Hit It and Forget About It. Great game game Jackie and great win Seawalks!

Hit it and Forget About it!
Aaron pitched a great game and more importantly came up super clutch for his team with his bat! After having multiple RBI's, Aaron blasted one out of the park in the bottom of the 7th that gave his team the walk off victory.

Bats Prove Too Much In The End
The team that is Batting Average is up and coming and Monday night they showed power house STF Slammers how to get down and dirty. Led by Daniel and the rest of the crew, they reeled off 19 runs holding the Slammers to 5 runs over 7 innings. I have seen a lot of newly formed teams come on the Lower Woodlands scene this year and it feels like a changing of the guard. Batting Average, if they stay together, will rule the roost in due time. Their bats can get hot really fast, their defense is stellar and their team chemistry is very potent. They have made some roster moves lately and those moves are starting to pay off in terms of on-field performance. Great win Batting Average.

Knock Off Pitches Be Trippin' 26-9
The Empty Pitchers were at it again on Monday night against PBT and they made it look rather easy. They were absolutely dominant. Their pitching, their base running, their batting and their defense were all on and they looked like the dominant team on the way to a title. Tommy Hall went bananas at the dish batting 5 for 5 with a triple, 3 doubles and a single. He also batted in 5 runs and scored 3. Great win Empty Pitchers and we look forward to seeing your continued playoff run.

Alex Hurley Hangin Em Up After 10 Years
They have finally done it, capturing their first fall title in team history. They had to knock off power house All Star Super Stars which was not easy in the least. From the on set it was a battle that went 7 innings an begged for more action because it was the good of a game. Led by Luke's bat and his lights out pitching, the Empty Pitchers escaped with a one run win and capturing their first fall title. 3rd baseman Alex Hurley told reporters after the game that this is it for him. He's hanging em up after 10 years with the team and moving on to bigger and getter things. Congratulations Empty Pitchers
