Go Balls Deep had a dominating regular season as they earned the No. 2 seed in the playoffs. Despite their lofty seeding, the postseason would be no cake walk.
In the semi-finals, the squad needed a last-second miracle touchdown to advance to the title game. Then in the championship game, they had to fight tooth and nail with Back That Pass Up to pull off the victory.
Congrats to Go Balls Deep for an impressive run this regular and post season!
As Go Balls Deep won the Underdog championship Monday night, we have to give credit to Alan for getting his team to the title game. In the semi-finals, his team was trailing with five seconds left. Alan ran a flawless route and found himself in a position to catch the perfectly thrown pass in the corner of the end zone for the game-winning touchdown. Without his sure hands and field awareness, Go Balls Deep would never have brought home the title. Congrats Alan!
Zac D earns this week's Player of the Week award for his relentless pass-rush, bringing up the comparisons of JJ Watt himself. We lost the actual number of sacks he recorded, but we lost count at about 30. He was on the QB every play of the game, and his hurrying the QB led to some big plays on defense. Congrats Zac!
