It started out as a hot day at paramount field but as we know the weather took a turn for the worse. However it came down to a one run game between Master Blasters and Hustle and throw. In the bottom of the 6th only one person could step up and be the hero. Here comes Tim Battaglia...with the pressure immense...he delivers...an outstanding shot puts one on the board and the Master Blasters a win. With the game riding on his shoulders it was only a true clutch player who could step up and deliver. A great hit Tim!!!!

Another warm and sunny day at Paramount Field in shoreline lead to some heated battles on the diamond. In the very first game of the day a close battle between the Master Blasters and Here for the Beer came down to a one run game. One run in a game of this magnitude can lead to a victory or a painful loss. Up steps Christal Eshelman...with a massive bomb and crucial home run!!! It was perfect timing for Christal's first home run of the year! As she sped around the bases the crowd looked in awe as Christal had no problem touching all four of the base pads. Christal will now be a feared power hitter within the Paramount league. Congratulations Christal on your awesome home run shot!!
A quick shout out to Oliver Parkinson...we hope you get well soon buddy.
Nice job Tierney from the Twist Restaurant and Lounge...she managed to take a hit from a pitch and as catcher she was able to field at least 50% of the pitches!!! Congrats Tierney!
