On a bright spring afternoon at Northacres, you could sense something special was going to be in the air. Two teams locked in an epic struggle for diamond supremacy, and you knew defense would win the day in the end.
Fortunately for the Sunday School Dropouts, Elana and Tracy were in class long enough to learn the importance of tremendous defense. Elana used her whole body (finally the glove!) to reel in pop-ups at second, while Tracy's nerves of steel steadied her behind the plate with a tenacity that couldn't be breached.
Truly, these two taught us that 'staying in school' isn't all it's cracked up to be.
