Lets face it, this Indy team is crazy good! They started off as complete strangers and won. They continued to get to know each other...and still won. They earned the #2 seed for the playoffs and definitely deserved it. Their domination was complete until Tuesday when they fell to "Suck my Kick" in a hard-fought seesaw of a game. Thanks for being such a great team to ref and hang out with. I hope to see you guys next season!
In this playoff game Alex stepped up to the plate big time. After being relieved as pitcher, Alex played some stellar defense. However, it was at kick that his true potential came out. Alex had 2 amazing HR's that brought in 4 runs total. Clutch player!!!
Being on an Indy team is not easy. You have to meet new people, learn their names (not to mention your team name), figure out everyone's strengths and weaknesses, and be nice to your teammates. To be the ringleader of this is even more difficult and Erik took the reins as captain and did a great job. He made the line up, filled out positions, pitched a gem and kicked a 3 run bomb. Not to shabby for your first day of kickball since 5th grade Erik! Congrats and keep up the good work!
