Gabriel had multiple amazing catches in center field that helped secure victory for his team in not just 1 but 2 games.
Brett Cannaday turned in a Cy Young worthy performance on Thursday, going 6 innings without allowing a run. He was masterful on the mound and his teamed played stellar D behind him.
Rashi used some big kicks and timely bunts to get on base and then made the most of those opportunities with 2 runs scored in what ended up being a very close 5 to 2 victory for Wasted Potential. She also played nice defense at 2nd with a sweet catch on a line drive and another catch for a very close force out play. In a game where every play had a huge impact on the outcome, Rashi came through with enough of them to earn a well deserved player of the week.
Blake J earns this week's POTW for crushing a mammoth HR over the left field fence for a 3 run HR, leading his team to a close victory. After going down 4-2 early, Wasted Potential roared back with 9 runs in the 5th inning, 3 of them on Blake's bomb. Congrats!
