The playoffs got off to a great start with The M's vs Saints. The teams traded off victories in the first two games and a third game had to be played. The third game was close the whole time, with points flying back and forth. Each team put forth their berst efforts. Once the dust settled, the M's emerged the victors, 25-23.
The 2nd match was Seriously, Charles vs Mustard SL*TS. This match had two very close games with each game ending 25-21. Play was fierce on each side of the net but in the end, Mustard SL*TS came together as a team and won to advance to the championship round.
The championship game was one to remember. Each team played with tremendous heart and left everything they had on the court. In the end, The M's amazing digs were no match for Mustard SL*TS hard hits. Mustrad SL*TS were crowned the kings and queens of First Baptist Tuesday nights.
Jonas more than deserves this weeks Player of the Week! He had spikes that were spot on accurate, hard hits and scared everyone, including even me and I was on the sideline. He was also so upbeat and took any bad hits he may have made gracefully and with good spirit. His serves were also superb and he moved around the court like he was floating. Jonas was a fun player to watch and helped lead his team to victory, more then qualifying him to be Player of the Week!
