Summer Co-ed Grass Volleyball at Meridian Park Tuesdays

Once again, Mustard Sl*ts found themselves in an Underdog championship match, but this time around it was against some new opponents who meant business. After winning their semi finals match, Domination Station, came on the court ready to show off their rookie skills to the veterans. Game one was neck and neck most of the way with hard hits and scrappy digs coming from both sides of the court. Domination Station was proving that they deserved to be in the championship and put it all out on the court. With a short run of serves Mustard Sl*ts took game one, but only by a handful. Game two was just as high flying and low digging as game one, but the points kept going back and forth. Then after one of Mustard Sl*ts’ teammates rolled an ankle, they rallied together to win themselves some championship wristbands.

Rookie of the year

Erica came into this season as a rookie to a long standing team, known for their championships, but that didn't intimidate her at all. Throughout the season Erica has held her own and then some. Tonight was no different as she hustled her way around the court to touch everything possible.

5'6" going on 6'6"

This is the second week in a row that Kelsey's teammates have nominated her as player of the week for her stellar front row skills. Not only is she setting her teammates beautifully, but she is also going up against much taller opponents and stuffing it back in their faces. Watch out underdog vballers, Kelsey is a force to be reckoned with.
