On day two of the tournament, Spike Deez faced a stiff challenge from the upstart Indy team. They would persevere though, putting them away quickly in the first two games.
To Kill a Blocking Nerd held up their end of the bargain to pit the top two seeds, but they faced a bit more of a challenge from Bumpin Uglies as they took them to the brink in the 3rd game for a 2-1 Nerd victory.
You would think that Nerd would have been a little fatigued in the 2nd match, but they came out playing with tons of energy. A fresher Spike Deez fought back to take the decisive 3 game and the championship.
Spike Deez rolled over the competition with Jolene leading the pack with her killer hits. You could smell the fear in the gym when Jolene went up to the hit, jumping up to rip the ball down onto the other side of the court. There may have even been a few screams...
