Monkey Lovers
Jana more then deserves this weeks POTW. Her sets were amazing. Jana was setting from everywhere on the court and they always made it to her hitter. She brought the awesomeness to the rest of her game, serving like an old pro and playing defence with laser intensity. Jana had double digit assits and an upbeat atittude. Amazing play Jana and You will a person to watch in the next few weeks!

Derek, or D-Money, was unstoppable on the back line tonight. He rattled off 20 serves in a row like it was his job. Then on top of that he had an amazing dig, off his face, that not only left a mark on the game, but will probably leave him with a black eye.

When you look at Janet you can see desire & determination, but you wouldn't necessarily know that she could skool just about anyone at the net. Janet was jumping like a kangaroo all across the net to block as many attempted spikes she could and succeded many times.

Team Destiny has gone undefeated this season and one person to thank for that is Sam. He is like a sniper at the net looking for that perfect shot to put the ball down and 9 times out of 10 he does just that. While that is probably his strong suit Sam is also an animal in just about every other area of the court as well.

Aileen was an outstanding player tonight and rightfully deserves POTW. SHe brought her hustle to the floor, running after balls and diving when need be. She also had amazing serves that floated over the net and then slammed into the floor. Aileen also brought her spirit and drive to the floor, where she boosted her teammates morale and brought the funk! Great week Aileen and a note to others, beware of Aileen!

Besides the great stories I get on my scorecards, Luis is very entertaining to watch. HE plays with so much energy and heart that everyone can tell he loves the game. His hits, blocking and crazy defense made him player of the week and player of the championship game. At the end of the day, the blocking sealed it for his team. I'm a sucker for great defense.
