This week's player of the week goes to Purple Rain's Best friend and everyone's favorite, Lil Jon. Yes, that Lil Jon. The one you hear and uncontrollably, bob your head and shake your butt. During the 3rd place game, downtown, Purple Rain brought that sweet, sweet sound. And as expected, Kickball turned into a dance party. Kicking and fielding came secondary to "Steve Martin Style" dancing. Anchal dropped it like it was hot the whole game....didn't take a break....dude was unbelievable when it came to cuttin a rug. Even the umpire, I think, snapped his fingers once or twice. Fun Times when you mix a bit of booze and Lil Jon on the boombox.
This weeks player of the week goes to Vinny Hood for holding it down at short-stop. Vinny caught everything kicked his direction, many of them with high hops to reel in the out. It was his hustle on the bases that tipped the voting for POTG, getting on base everytime. He also made a great sliding play into 3rd base to avoid the tag and eventually score safely, he showed mad skills and should start looking for an ALL*STAR kickball team to travel the country with!
