It was a battle of Cinderellas as 5th seeded Green took on 10th seeded That's Too Deep in the Championship Game, and it turned out to be a fantastic game. The teams exchanged leads multiple times, and as soon as it looked like one side was about to take control, the opponent would fight their way back into it. In the end, the combination of Keith to Brian was too much for That's Too Deep to overcome, and they combined for three touchdowns, two conversions, and the game winning 4th down catch as well. So as we head into Spring, we say congratulations on another Championship for Green!
It was a day of spectacular catches for Brian Lenz as he led Green to the championship. Brian caught two touchdowns, but his biggest catch came at the finish. Leading 36-29 but deep in their own territory facing a 4th down and long, Brian made a leaping catch that finally finished things off for Green. Congratulations to Brian and to Green!
