Softballs and Hardwoods really came to play this week led by their POTW 3rd baseman RYAN TOMOKIYO! This guy showed great fundamentals at the plate with a 3 run HR, a triple, a double and 6 RBI'S!!! He also played outstanding defense at third base with many great plays. Good team win guys!!!
Karen had a big game on Sunday, reaching base each time she came to bat. In Softballs and Hard Wood's big 8 run inning, she drew a big walk after getting to a 3-2 count to extend the inning. In the bottom of the 7th, with her team down 2 runs, she came up with a huge single up the middle to score two runs and tie the game with 2 outs. This set up the game winning run for the next batter.
