In an intense battle between two very good hitting teams, Katie Grape made the difference defensively in the last two innings. She was tested time and again with deep hit balls and rose to the challenge each time helping secure a hard fought five run victory. Without her defense in the later innings the scoring outcome would have been a lot different.
