In a critical, bases-loaded situation for Dae's Hoes, the game could have gone either way. The Hoes had kept Indy 14 at arm's length for most of the affair, but the outcome was far from certain. A comebacker hit to Dylan Foreman on the mound left him a decision: take an out at first and permit a 3 run game? Or go home and trust Mary to make the play?
He threw home and after a bobble and half stumble Mary came through and held on for the out, saving the run and keeping her team ahead, from where they would cruise to an eventual 12-7 win. Mary's big play makes her player of the week!
