Nation of Deflation showed their impressive defensive prowess on Wednesday night. Behind the stellar pitching of Pete Jones, they surrendered just 1 total run in 2 games. If they continue to play at that level, they will be hard to beat.
All too often, teams place their worst fielder in RF. Not so today, as Elise dominated the position. On offense and defense, her kicking leg, throwing arm, and soft hands won the day. For her performance, Elise is our POTW. Congrats!
Tom W earns this week's Player of the Week award for his outstanding play at third base. At one point, he caught 5 balls in a row that were kicked to him. Whether they were low line drives or high pop-ups, Tom was there to take away an entire part of the field. Underdog scouts will be focusing on this league, as we have a potential gold-glover in Tom.
