Monday night at First Baptist was full of intense playoff volleyball matches, and Bump N' Grind definitely brought their A-Game. After giving 110% towards winning their semi-final match, they still had energy to fight for the championship title. All of their hardworking efforts paid off and they snatched the top spot! It was sensational! Congratulations team!
Melissa Dravis of Bump N' Grind brought her A-game for not one, but two volleyball games on Monday night. For back-to-back semi-final and final matches, Melissa showed she was hungry for the big win. Her consistent, fierce serves were unstoppable! She went on crazy serving runs in both games to help push her team towards victory. For her passionate playing, Melissa is our player of the week. Congratulations!
WOW! Shelby Flick of Bump N' Grind should work as a head chef with all the heat she dished out during Monday night volleyball! Her serves were so fast and so hard that you could almost see flames shooting off of the ball. Her skills were great enough to help push her team towards the victory they needed to advance to the semifinals round of the tournament. For her superior efforts, Shelby is our player of the week. Congratulations!
Rachel Sirkin had two reasons to celebrate after her team, Bump N' Grind's game on Monday night: they won and it was her birthday! Besides the fact that she showed dedication by not ditching her team to celebrate her birthday, she also played phenomenally! Her all-around skills helped push the team towards the win. From serving overhand consistently, to getting some nice ups, she did it all. Congratulations and Happy Birthday to our player of the week, Rachel!
Paul Springer should work at IHOP with the way he served up a perfect pancake at Monday night's volleyball match. In a fearless dive across the back court, Paul of Bump N’ Grind managed to reach his hand out flat on the floor and pop the what should have been down volleyball. The ball flew up nicely into the air for his team to recover. For his spectacularly amazing play, Paul is our player of the week. Congratulations!
