Courtney Spackman
Back That Ace Up
If you had to pick an individual as an example of hard work, you should take a look at Courtney Spackman! On Monday night at First Baptist, her team, Back That Ace Up, only had four players to play against a full team of six. Although that may seem daunting for most, Courtney stepped up fearlessly. She gave 110% to every dig, set, and hit. For all of her efforts and incredible demeanor, Courtney is our player of the week. Congratulations!

Blake White
Kiss My Ace
This past Monday at First Baptist, Blake White of Kiss My Ace came in clutch when his team needed him most. During match point of the final set, Kiss My Ace needed just one more point in order to secure the win. Blake rose to the occasion, proceeding to jump up and execute the PERFECT block right in the nick of time. For his outstanding display of skills in the game’s most intense moment, Blake is our player of the week. Congratulations!

Anthony Van Eaton
Anthony Van Eaton
Back That Ace Up
On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Anthony Van Eaton of Back That Ace Up transcended volleyball with his terrific performance. Consistently, Back That Ace Up turned to Anthony when they needed a big play to be made. Time and time again, Anthony answered the call, recording countless kills and digs along the way! He truly showed what it means to be an athlete who gives 110%. For his stupendously outstanding performance, Anthony is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!

Paul Springer
Paul Springer
Bump N' Grind
Paul Springer should work at IHOP with the way he served up a perfect pancake at Monday night's volleyball match. In a fearless dive across the back court, Paul of Bump N’ Grind managed to reach his hand out flat on the floor and pop the what should have been down volleyball. The ball flew up nicely into the air for his team to recover. For his spectacularly amazing play, Paul is our player of the week. Congratulations!

Rachel Sirkin
Rachel Sirkin
Bump N' Grind
Rachel Sirkin had two reasons to celebrate after her team, Bump N' Grind's game on Monday night: they won and it was her birthday! Besides the fact that she showed dedication by not ditching her team to celebrate her birthday, she also played phenomenally! Her all-around skills helped push the team towards the win. From serving overhand consistently, to getting some nice ups, she did it all. Congratulations and Happy Birthday to our player of the week, Rachel!
