This season Boolin was one of the rare teams that really relied on their defense to help them wins games. Most games end up being a shoo tout with the winner being decided by the team that can find the end zone every drive other than 1 or 2. Boolin did a terrific job of not letting their opponent's score at that rate and were real ball hawks. Their playoff road to the championship was no different. In the semifinal game they had several acrobatic interceptions that really allowed themselves to separate from their opponents. In the championship game they didn't have as many interceptions but were able to prevent the opposing team from converting on fourth down which allowed them to again separate and hang on for the victory and the championship.
Caton had a great couple games tonight when it mattered most. In the semifinals he was a force on the field. Defensively he had two picks that really helped to flip the momentum of the game. Offensively he added a TD that helped Boolin seal it. In the finals it was business as he played lock down defense again.
Marcus was on fire tonight! He managed to score each and every one of his teams touchdowns, including a pick six. Marcus was the lifeblood of Boolin tonight. Congratulations on the win and way to play!
Kyle went off tonight! He brought down three touchdowns and a pick in spectacular full field fashion. Congratulations on the win and way to play!
