There have been many great catches over the years that have earned the title of ”The Catch”. Montana to Walsh in football, Willie Mays in baseball. Nick’s catch tonight deserves no less praise. The ball was arcing down the line over him and away from him, when he reached out against his body while simultaneously diving into the air. While he was half-rolling and cartwheeling the ball found his glove For the spectacular out. The play and player of the week.

The BeerLeaguered

Andrew is player of the week this week by means of his epic last-inning walk-off triple to beat the Seawalks in his opening night game with The Beerleaguered. While pressure might have gotten to a lesser man, Andrew stood tall with 2 on in the 7th, and blasted a ball to deep left center field that had no doubt about the 2 runs needed to win the game.
Andrew rode that high into his teams second game, and produced some other valuable hits to help his club go 2-2 on the night in the win column.
