Summer Co-ed Softball on Capitol Hill Tuesdays/Thursdays

The number two seeded The Beer Leaguered had a huge 6th inning to clinch the title in a tightly contested game. The score was only 3-2, anchored by team captain and pitcher Shahid, heading into the bottom of the sixth before they exploded for 8 runs. That was all they needed as they held the Upper Deckers scoreless in the top of the 7th to win 11-2.

Theo had a great game tonight. She was able to contribute on both sides of the ball and all over the field. She played a great center field and was running balls down all night. Offensively she hit well all night and finished with 2 doubles and 3 rbut. She really did it all and was a huge reason The Beer Leaguered tonight.
