This season was intense. Every team played their hearts out and there were many close calls!
There seemed to be two particular guys who really shined during playoffs with their numerous home runs. Anthony from Stinky Fingers and Mike Wyman of Violent Chubbies. Defensive skills are important, but you have to have the scores to finish the game and these guys came through!
For the final Championship game, it was tight all the way through, and nerves were tense! Finally in the end though, it was Violent Chubbies who came out top for the solid victory!! Nice win Chubbies
Mike was lightin it up ALL day long. He was simply unstoppable in both games. Mike would be the first one calling for the ball in outfield and making great catches. The team claimed he single handedly accounted for 10 outs during the final game. On top of that, Mike was solid on offense getting some great base running and home runs. Kudos to you Mike for a great finish to the season
Its not always easy playing short stop, but watching Katharine today, you might have thought otherwise. With her quick reflexes and smart defensive plays, Katharine made every catch she made look effortless. Take notes fella's
Lightner had this one insane catch just in the 2 inning where everyone thought the pop fly was dropping, but somehow this woman squats down for the ultra low catch. Not only does she make this awesome catch, but she throws it to first for the double play, catching the runner before they could tag up. Awesome quick reaction and defensive play!
