Courtney has earned her spot as most improved second baseman in the league. During her game against the hard hiting ORfans, she managed to be in the right spot at the right time. When the ball was hit to short w/a runner on first, she didn't hesitate or even have to think to run to second to get the force out and attempt the possible double play ball. She assisted in at least 5 outs. But not only did she play a hell of game on D, she also scored the winning run in the very last inning of the game. WAY TO GO, Courtney!
This weeks player of the week goes to the one known as "Tight Blue Shorts Guy". It's always special when the winning team nominates a player cause of his enthusiasm, and solid play in the field, at times. It should be known that the Guy made a sprinting catch in left that nobody thought he would get to, and he didn't split his shorts in the effort. Great game Blue Short Guy, keep it up!
