With only 4 of their 6 regular players, plus one who was a fairly regular sub, Kama Setya still took home this seasons championship title. It didn't come without a fight though. During their first match against Boop! (seated 4th) they lost their 2nd game 22-25. Only to come back in the 3rd game and win 25-13. Once they were hot, there was no stopping them. In just 2 games they beat the Volleyholics, proving they were the most deserving team. It definitely took effort and hustle from each player on the team. There wasn't one person who I didn't see laid out on the floor at one point or another throughout the night. Great job, Kama Setya!
Mike, from Kama setya, set the bar high for the season last night. He was voted POTG by his teammates for "bringing the heat from the back row," but let me tell you... he brought it just as much from the front row too! His hits along with great digs and tip coverage earned him the Player of the Week title for opening night. Great job, Mike!
