Winter Midcore Volleyball at Loyal Heights Tuesdays

Mike, from Kama setya, set the bar high for the season last night. He was voted POTG by his teammates for "bringing the heat from the back row," but let me tell you... he brought it just as much from the front row too! His hits along with great digs and tip coverage earned him the Player of the Week title for opening night. Great job, Mike!

Along with the player of the game nomination from team Boop! Sam is also bringing home the Player of the Week title. Her middle hits, blocks, serves, and all-around hustle proved key to a 3-0 win over Planet Volleywood. Congratulations Boop! and Sam.

Jason took home the top honors for his hard hitting against the other team, to the point of "megging" an opponent. Yes, his teammates realize this is volleyball and not soccer, but hey, it works! The Volleyholics had a tough night against Planet Volleywood, but with Jason's skills, they took home a 3-0 win. Great job Jason!

The volleyholics had a tough match up tonight against Notorious DIG. After a win and a loss, the third game came down to a 26-24 win to keep them alive and into the final round of the tournament. A key player for them all season has been Melvin, who in game one had a great serving streak that brought them up from being behind. Aside from that his strong hitting and ability to read the defensive make him a great player earning him this week's Player of the Week!
