Six teams came to play and win on the first night of league bowling at Imperial Lanes. Old friends connected, new friends met, beer flowed freely, and pins were toppling left and right. But there was one man that stood out from the rest.
After a 5+ year retirement, Nick T from Nick's Angels arrived on the scene to enjoy a nice and relaxing evening of hitting the lanes. And he hit them hard. He started off his night with a spare in the first frame; and followed it up by getting five strikes in a row. All told, he walked away with 7 strikes and three spares in his first round to give Nick's Angels a lead at the start. Even though he was bowling away the competition (and his own team!), Nick was constantly high-fiving and encouraging people from all teams as they all tried their best to emulate his skill. With a positive attitude and encouragement handed out to everyone around him, Nick brought good times to the lanes. Great job to all of the teams, and we'll see you all next week wearing your PJs!!
