Pin Pals, surprised to even find themselves in the finals, took an early lead against first seed Seoul Train. Running on momentum, neon, and 80's rock star energy they continued their lead into the 5th frame with Nick aka Maverick leading the charge. By the 10th frame it was a serious nail biter. In the end the true Underdogs, Pin Pals, took the win and a shot at the championship.
Pin Pals tried to continue their winning momentum but it became clear early in the game that it would take a lot more than momentum to beat Nick's Angels. The Angels bowled consistently and it looked like they would take home the title but Pin Pals came back! There was no predicting the end of this game and not until the calculators came out did it become clear that Pin Pals were taking home the Champ tee-shirts; the Pin Pals with a 556 and Nick's Angels with a 543. Congrats Pin Pals!

This week teams came ready to give a smack down and one player beat out all the rest, Pin Pals' Jake Cooper. Although Pin Pals was only able to secure 1 point against Multiple Scoregasms the whole team improved the second game including Jake. With a 169 the first game and a 190 the second Jake marked all but 4 frames the entire match up! Congrats Jake on being player of the game!
