It started off as a quiet Monday night for Big Turkey Bowling at Imperial Lanes. Teams strolled in to a relatively empty bowling alley, still bright red from a weekend spent in the sun sans sunscreen (Sunscreen? What's that?? We don't get enough sunshine to buy that stuff...). Despite the stinging burns that were around, the teams brought their A-games for the last week before playoffs.
First off is a shout-out to Ryunam for their second game; their scoreboard was full of nutin' but lines as they KILLED it with spares! Both Pin Pals and Livin on a Spare were in high spirits, and high-fives were passed between both teams just as frequently as good-natured insults, resulting in lots of cheering, jeering and laughs. But the real hero of the night was But the real hero of the night is Nick Hollon with the Pin Pals; he bowled an impressive 146 to help lead his team to a win over Livin on a Spare!
Great job to all teams! Don't forget your Prize Tickets, Spirit Coupons and Spandex for the Superhero-themed Playoff night next week!!
