Spring Co-ed Softball at Northacres Sundays

Pitches Be Trippin’ ran into Russell’s Wilson in the ‘ship today. Russell’s Wilson had really been grinding it out all day long, but Pitches Be Trippin’ proved to be too much in the end. Russell’s Wilson showed some grit by trying to mount a seventh inning comeback, but was put down after Captain Natalie out in LF made a catch and double up on an over aggressive runner. With great defense and some strong at bats, Pitches Be Trippin’ couldn’t be matched. Congrats on your great season!

Whoever said defense wins championships was very smart! Today those words rang true! When the game was on the line, Natalie came up big! Last inning and the opponents were mounting a come back . But when a fly ball was hit to left field Natalie came up and made the catch while alertly catching the runner getting to far down the baseline. She made a big throw and doubled up the runner, ending the game! Clutch work Natalie!
