Wearing a cutoff shirt that would have made Rafael palmiero jealous, Mike had 3 hits including 2 HR's and 4 RBI's in leading "Chasing Earl" to a antidote like 9-4 win over the surging 'team vaccine'. Mike got chasing earl on the board in the first with a 2 run homer and they never looked back. After the game Miek was immediatly rushed to testify before congress and also signed to a $750,000 book deal. Way to go mike....I think.

Playing much like his namesake, Ty Cobb started out hot in the first inning, coming up twice and clearing the bases both times. He would continue to crush the ball throughout the day. He hit the ball so well, he didn't even have to slide at all. We're sure that if he did have to slide though, he would have come in spikes high.
