In the early evening of June 26, 2005, Jake Rosenblum ignited the Arbornauts to their first win of the season over team Rubber Chicken. Right from the start Jake opened the game with a lead off home run a la Ricky Henderson, the Arbornauts never looked back. Adding some superior plays at third, short, left and right field, Jake helped his dad pitch six scoreless innings in the first game of their double header. In fact, the Rosenblum families play over the double header and Mark 10 scoreless innings gave the Arbornauts from the cellar of the league to a tight race for third place. After the game, an exuberant Mark was overheard saying, "Oy I kvell watching that Jake! What a mench!" Great job Jake and good luck Arbornauts.
